Attorney Lisa Brown practices law in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Her area of practice includes family law, criminal law, employment law, traffic law, personal injury law, bankruptcy and trusts and estates. She is admitted to the United States Bankruptcy Court and the United Stated District Court, Eastern District of Virginia. She has a B.A. from Swarthmore College, J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and an L.L.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
Prior to working in private practice, Lisa Brown worked in the area of employment benefits law for two major law firms in Washington, D.C., Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker and Dickstein Shapiro LLP. Attorney Brown worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Eric Washington, who is currently the Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
